Mathematics 13 Online
OpenStudy (tyrinzoebrown):

solve each inequality, graph your solution 14. V-6<4 16. N-1/2 ≥ 3/4 18. Q+0.5>-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since you are subtracting 6 you would have to add 6 to both sides and you would get V<10 Does this make sense or do you need more explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That was number 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For number 15 you would change the fractions into decimals and the way you do that is by dividing the top of the fraction by it's denominator. So n-1/2 is greater than or equal to 3/4 so 1/2 in decimal form is 0.5 and 3/4 in decimal form is .75 so now you have n-0.5 is greater than or equal to .75 now you would add 0.5 to both sides since you are subtracting in the expression and than you would cancel out 0.5 plus 0.5 and add .75 to 0.5 and than you would add them together and you would get 80 so n is greater than or equal to 80

For number 18: you would subtract 0.5 from both sides since you are adding in the expression than you get the expression Q>1.5

Sorry by accidently posted that one 3 times :)

OpenStudy (tyrinzoebrown):

that fine lol thank you for answering good job, I really apreciate it

No problem I am good with inequalities but not much of anything else in math lol :)
