Which undefined terms are needed to define parallel lines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Coplanar line Parallel lines are coplanar lines that do not intersect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks, do you know why a ray is a defined term?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A ray is the part of the line which consists of the given point and the set of all points on one side of the end point. A ray is one-dimensional, and has zero width. If you draw a ray with a pencil, examination with a microscope would show that the pencil mark has a measurable width. The pencil line is just a way to illustrate the idea on paper. In geometry however, a ray has no width. A ray also has no measurable length, because it goes on forever in one direction.

Jamal wrote the following statements: Statement 1: Perpendicular lines are two lines that intersect at 90° angles. Statement 2: All right angles are congruent. Which geometry term does each statement represent? Statement 1: definition; Statement 2: theorem Statement 1: postulate; Statement 2: definition Statement 1: theorem; Statement 2: postulate Statement 1: postulate; Statement 2: theorem please help

When constructing inscribed polygons and parallel lines, how are the steps similar? A protractor and ruler are used to take accurate measurements. A compass is used to draw arcs. Four right angles are created. There are no similarities.

i'm sorry, i don't know that one /:

thanks what about this one Which step is included in the construction of parallel lines? Connect two arcs with a compass. Create arcs above the given line with a straightedge. Copy an angle by creating arcs with a compass. Connect the parallel lines with a straightedge.
