What is a bi conditional statement?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's when the truth values are either both true or both false.

How would I write "If today is monday then it is not the weekend" as a bi conditional statement

Directrix (directrix):

@dewberryb The notation p<-->q means that the statement is a biconditional. That is, p-->q AND q --> P are both true. The statement and its converse are simultaneously true. Your statement: "If today is Monday then it is not the weekend" would be symbolically cast as p <-->q where p: today is Monday q: it is not the weekend.
