??

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Hm. How much trigonometry do you know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im in geometry Idk why they give me these trig Q's.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Well trigonometry is part of geometry. http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Trigonometry.html Refer to equations 1 to 5.

Directrix (directrix):

Right Triangle Trig: The sine of angle x is by definition the ratio of the length of the opposite leg to the hypotenuse length. Sin(x) = 29.7/42.1 @lowcard2

Directrix (directrix):

Get on the Google calculator at https://www.google.com/#q=2+%2B+3+%3D Click on Radians to make the calculator show Degrees. Click INV, then Sine. Up top in the display, enter 29.7/42.1 as shown in the attachment below.

Directrix (directrix):

Then, click on = What pops up?

Directrix (directrix):

@lowcard2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im doing it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 42.866

Directrix (directrix):

That's the approximation I got.

Directrix (directrix):

You need to round that result for an option fit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
