OpenStudy (anonymous):

Suppose that the x-intercepts of a graph of y = f(x) are -9, and -5 What are the intercepts of a graph of y = 5f(x) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the same if \(f(x)=0\) then \(5f(x)=0\) as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but they gave you a parabola with 2 x-intercepts you cant just make it 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the \(x\) intercepts means where the function is zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph \(y=x^2-4\) and \(y=5x^2-20\) and see that the zeros are the same
