what is 3000 in scientific notation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same as the last one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3*10^3

OpenStudy (gk99):

\[3\times10^{3}\]

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

The way to do this is to get the number that isn't zero and put it on the left (please tak a paper). Now put "times 10". Now count how many zeros there are and you put that number as the exponent. In this case this would be \[3\times10^{3}\]It's pretty easy, right?

\[3 \times 10^3\]
