I keep getting the wrong answer can someone tell me what we're doing wrong? In a classroom, 1/2 of the students have brown hair. Furthermore, 2/5 have both brown hair and brown eyes. The probability that a brown-haired student also has brown eyes equals A. 3/5 B. 4/5 C. 1/5 D. 1/2

P(brown hair)/P(brown eyes & brown hair) is this what I'm supposed to be doing, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe you would multiply them...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.5*0.4=0.2 c.1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't got a calculator and I suck at numbers but isn't that 0.2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh yeah lol scratch that aha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I was dividing instead of multiplying. Thanks
