find the domain of f(x)=x/(x-3)

hero (hero):

\[f(x) = \frac{x}{x - 3}\] Basically you can assume the domain of a given function is all real numbers unless you can find a number or set of numbers that cannot be part of the domain. Do you see a number or set of numbers that do not belong to the domain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well 3 cant be x because it would make the denominator 0.. right?

hero (hero):

Correct

thanks:)
