OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

Can someone explain finding the inflection points of a graph? I know it's f''(x) but please explain, no videos explain well.

OpenStudy (ranga):

To find inflection points mathematically, set f''(x) = 0 and solve for x. Those are potential inflection points but not always so. To find it visually by looking at a graph: Inflection points are the points where the graph changes from being concave down to concave up or changes from being concave up to concave down. They typically fall between a maxima and a minima and once again may not always be so.
