Can someone correct my work :D
Choose the equation of the line passing through the point (-3, -1) and perpendicular to y = one halfx + 3. y = -2x - 7 y = -2x +5 y = 2x + 5 y = 2x - 7 *my work* y-y^1=m(x-x^1) y-2=1/2(x-3) y-1=2x-4 +1 +1 y=2x+5 ?
y-y1=y+1 = m(x-x1)=m(x+3) m=-2, to get you perpendicular slope y+1=2*(x+3) y=2x+5
your work is so messed up lol but you did enough mistakes and go the right answer
how did 2x-4 + 1 give you 2x+5
xD !! ayeee *throws hands up* my work was messed up ! xD Lmfaooooooo so im right ^.^
i dont think you understand how to do this question
you should really do a couple more
*my work* y-y^1=m(x-x^1) y-2=1/2(x-3) <---- this should say y+1=2*(x+3) y-1=2x-4 <----- wrong +1 +1 <----?? y=2x+5 ? <----- how ??
I do soo! if I just did the formula with a minor set back . but you dont have to slam it in my face you know I understand :/
im not, im just trying to help you
I know :D and thank you !
