I wanted to know what or where is the calendar for the class so that i don't miss out on doing hw, or quizes
Are you doing the self paced MIT Open Courseware or something else?
I was thinking that I would follow along with everyone else, but I also work so I wanted to make sure I don't fall behind because I work

I am in the same boat. I am working on the problems sets and I have no idea what to do with them when I am done.
If you are doing the MIT OCW courses, they are self study. You do them at your own pace and don't hand anything in. If you are confident with your solution - cool. If you are confident with your solution but want it critiqued you can post your code and ask. If you are stuck with something just ask - usually want to post your code. Please use a code pasting site: - http://dpaste.com - http://pastebin.com - https://gist.github.com/ - http://pastie.org - http://codepad.org - http://ideone.com - http://www.repl.it/ paste your code there and post the link here. select Python syntax highlighting when u paste.
Quick question, would the same go for XSeries courses? I am unable to find any information regarding the submission of completed coursework.
?? edX?
@CharlesH Here is the references link it took me awhile too http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/index.htm
Thanks @EliCollins! @bwCA yeah edX
@CharlesH For the edX class, you can certainly get help here - please comply with their rules for getting help. If you do seek help here, let us know that your working on edX problems so we won't inadvertently break their rules. If the course format is the same as when I took it, you will submit or answer problems on the edX site - there will be a place to paste your code there. There should be a *forum* for the course, it was very active (lots of ppl and questions) - here you might have to wait for an answer.
@bwCA ok thank you I wanted to know what were the sites you posted was that for checking the code before submitting it?
Those are just code pasting sites where you can share code - when you ask questions here, it is better if we can see the code you are referring to - those sites are a nice tool. If you have short snippits, you can include them in your post surrounded by three backticks (left of 1 on qwerty keyboards): three backticks code three backticks
thanks @bwCA!!!
