Ok this is how my teacher explained this to me

A. Just use a graphing calculator; besides, every student should know what y = x^3 looks like without a calculator.

x|Y 1| 2| 3| Plug in the x and get y

Thanks c:

For a better understanding, set up a table of values of x rangine from -3 to 3, NOT just 1,2,3

Np well yeah @Easyaspi314 but u can use it for any number tht was just an example

What I am saying, is that for a simple graph of a straight line, you can put up a simple table using x to be 1,2,3 But, for y = x^3, setting up x=1, x=2, and x= 3 does NOT give you a fair representation of the graph of y = x^3.
