please help!! What is the equation of the line described below written in slope-intercept form? the line passing through point (4, -1) and perpendicular to the line whose equation is 2x - y - 7 = 0 y = -x + 1 y = x - 1 y = 2x + 1 What is the equation of the line described below written in slope-intercept form? the line passing through point (2, 4), parallel to the line whose equation is y = x y = -x y = x + 2 y = -x + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey it is quite simple like i told you to

OpenStudy (nirmalnema):

FOR the 1 use one point form.. y-y1=m(x-x1)

OpenStudy (nirmalnema):

the product of slopes of two different lines are-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think you either made a mistake with your options or with the first question?!?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

second one second option the fasted way to solve these problems (if there are no parabolas )then just directly plug in the values of x and y in the equations which you have to see which one matches
