Jack London's The Call of the Wild is told in a Third Person (Limited Omniscient) point of view or narrative. It is interesting that London’s narrative revolves so closely around Buck and his thoughts, since Buck is a dog and not a person. Because the third person narrator goes inside Buck’s head, we get an intricate look at our protagonist’s reasoning, feelings, dreams, and desires.
