How do you treat a square root of a negative square? I am converting the units √(kg*J)/N into SI-Units. This leads me to √(s^-2)/(s^-2) . How would this solve out?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

simply √(s^-2) = s^-1 By the way √(kg*J)/N is already a SI unit ;-) you just need to simplify this expression.

Great!, thank you for your help. Simplifying the equation was basically the entire exercise, a pretty simple one at that, but I felt stumped by the negative exponents for a minute. That clears it up for me. Again, cheers!
