Write the balanced chemical equation for the neutralization reaction that occurs when an aqueous solution of hydrobromic acid (HBr) is mixed with an aqueous solution of lithium hydroxide (LiOH). Indicate the physical states of the reactants and products using the abbreviations (s), (l), (g), or (aq) for solids, liquids, gases, or aqueous solutions, respectively. Express your answer as a chemical equation.
LiBr is not a gas, it is a salt and would remain in the solution (as ions, actually). HBr(aq) + LiOH(aq) --> H2O + LiBr(aq)
i put that and it say it is wrong
that is the reaction i got too
i am putting it in masteringchemisry.com if you know what that is
HBr (aq) + LiOH (aq) ----> LiBr (s)+ H2O (l)
thanks
can you help me with one more
Anytime.
please click best response.
i will try.
Given the reactant side of the total ionic equation for the neutralization reaction of ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) with hydrochloric acid (HCl), write the total ionic equation (also known as the complete ionic equation) by entering both the reactant and the product species, separated by the reaction arrow. NH4+(aq)+OH−(aq)+H+(aq)+Cl−(aq)→ ? Be sure to include the charges on the ionic species and the physical state of all the reactant and product species. Express your answer as a chemical equation.
Sorry no idea. Please don't mind.
i think may be. NH4+(aq)+OH−(aq)+H+(aq)+Cl−(aq)→NH4+ + Cl- + H2O
Sorry no idea.
ok that was right thanks
Complete and balance each of the following equations. If no reaction occurs, write noreaction . NaOH(aq)+FeBr3(aq)→
i think 3NaOH(aq)+FeBr3(aq)→3NaBr(aq)+Fe(OH)3(s)
what about this one Na2CO3(aq)+CoCl2(aq)→
is it this Na2Co3 + 2CoCl2 ---> 2 NaCl + Co2CO3(solid)
i think Na2CO3(aq)+CoCl2(aq)→2NaCl(aq)+CoCO3(s)
thanks
Anytime.
will you be online tommor as i want you to tutor me
you are really good
Ok i will try.
or can you fan me so i know when you are on
ok
thanks for the fan, i gave you on also
