@amistre64
how wold you define a return on investment? difference/start right?
Like : ROI = Final Value - Initial Investment / Initial Investment
good, what are the final and initial values of the investments?
they give you initials, and you can divide the finals by the number of shares to determine a per share value
or, you can multiply the inital per share value by the number of shares ... wither way
8,476.20 & 4,192.10 ?
ROI= (8476.20 - 4192.10)/ ?
Lucas purchased 90 shares of stock in a computer company at $87.92 Lucas sold his for a total of $8,476.20/90 = 94.18 Peyton purchased 55 shares of stock in a different computer company at $72.03 Peyton sold hers for a total of $4,192.10/55 = 76.22 9418-8792 ---------- 8792 7622-7203 ----------- 7203
I solve for both of them ?
of course, how else are you going to be able to compare them?
Which one is which o.O
oh nvm xD
:)
Thank you :D
Lucas: 7.1% more <--- Is that right ?
