take the first part and bring it to the back .. John's ice cream fell in the mud while he was running down the street. is this what you want to do? or what do you mean by correct them.
or are you trying to 'correct them' by putting the right noun in front??? since dangling participals are not exactly wrong grammatically, but they do begin a sentance ,, and often leave an implied subject.... do you have to put the implied subject in?
