Where does the Krebs cycle occur? Cytoplasm Mitochondrion Cell membrane Nucleus @Compassionate

OpenStudy (compassionate):

The citric acid cycle, it occurs without oxygen, and happens in the Mitochondrion. The next cycle occurs in the cell membrane, though.

Sorry - I wasn't paying attention to the notifications.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would that make the answer Mitochondrion? or cell membrane? @Compassionate

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Remember in the lesson, when it talked about the Electron Transmission Chain? That's the next stage. Cellular Respiration (With oxygen), Krebs Cycle (Citric Acid Cycle; without oxygen), and ETC(Electron Transmission Chain). Cellular Respiration = in cytoplasm Krebs Cycle = in Mitochondria Electron Chain = In Mitochondria Nucleus.
