X/5-g=a for x

so what you do is multiply x from the x/5-g to the x on the other side of the equal sign so it would in the end it would look like this x=a(5-g) and then you distribute the a x=5a-ga when there's a fraction and you're trying to get rid of the denominator. you multiply that denominator to the top of the fraction so you can cancel it like this x/y=z multiply each side by y y(x/y)=y(z) the y cancels out on the left and then you're left with x=yz do you kind of get it?
