What is sec x as x tends to infinity

hartnn (hartnn):

it is same as the range of sec x. know what is it ?

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Secant = 1/Cos(x)... Cos(x) oscillates between 1 and -1..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sec x is same as 1/cosx and using maclaurince's expansion, cosx is 1-x^2/2 and so, we have 2/(2-x^2) therefore as x goes to infinity, 2/x^2 turns to zero leaving us with 0/-1 which is zero so, the limit is 0
