On the session 5 worked example. On question number one it shows the limit as x approaches 0 of the square root of x. I was wondering if it's appropriate to say that the limit from the left side is (1/∞)*i.

Except where otherwise stated, it is assumed that we are operating exclusively in the real number system. As a result, the square root of x is not defined for negative numbers and we can find a limit as x approaches zero for the square root of x only from the right side.
