Choose the equation that represents the graph below.

OpenStudy (lena772):

OpenStudy (lena772):

y = -negative three fourthsx + 4 y = -negative four thirdsx + 4 y = three fourthsx - 4 y = 4 thirdsx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think (y-4)+(x-3)=0

hartnn (hartnn):

can you find the slope given 2 points ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That works, or you can start with \(y = mx + b\) and look at the graph.

OpenStudy (lena772):

y2-y1/x2-x1?

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, so the 2 points you take are 3,0 and 0,4 find the slope now

OpenStudy (lena772):

m= 4/-3

hartnn (hartnn):

yup! m= -4/3 which option says that ?

hartnn (hartnn):

note, in y=mx+c, m= slope

OpenStudy (lena772):

So it's the second?

hartnn (hartnn):

yup :)

OpenStudy (shamil98):

From the graph, you can see where the line intercepts y, which is (0,4) you know now your b value of y = mx + b from there take two points and find the slope (0,4) and (3,0) 0-4 / 3 - 0 m = -4/3 then plug those values into y =mx + b
