What is the solution to the system of equations? 1) 3x+2y+z=7 2)5x+5y+4z=3 3)3x+2y+3z=1

OpenStudy (austinl):

Is there a particular method that we are supposed to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Substitution ? Right?

OpenStudy (austinl):

We can use substitution, elimination, or Kramer's Rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I would rather use substitution, cause its easier for me

OpenStudy (austinl):

Ok, so for this one.... hmm.... Ok, in line 1, you can get z by itself. Then pick another line to get z alone.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

z=-2y-3x+7 ???

OpenStudy (austinl):

Correct, now let's get z by itself in line 3.

OpenStudy (austinl):

Honestly, elimination would be much easier for this problem... but we can solve it through substitution, kinda.

OpenStudy (austinl):

What do you get for the last line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I answered it using elimination... O_O I kinda just figured it out. But thanks for your help!
