(9,0)

But how did you solve for it, @vanherrera45 ?

OpenStudy (ranga):

Find P for the given three points: x = 0, y = 8, P = (3)(0) + 2(8) = 16 x = 5, y = 4, P = (3)(5) + 2(4) = 23 x = 9, y = 0, P = (3)(9) + 2(0) = 27 P keeps increasing as x increases. Makes sense since x is multiplied by 3 and y only by 2. So more x will give higher P. So the point is (9,0) and the max value for P is 27.
