what is a biconditional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A biconditional is a stament of the form "If a, then b, AND if b, then a" Example: If 4 > 3, then 2<5, and if 2< 5, then 4>3. We can write the biconditional as if and only if... so the last statement can be written as 4>3 if and only if 2 < 5.
