HOW DO I DRAW THIS? " Start with a diploid number of 6 (2n=6)

OpenStudy (abbie):

Every cell has 2 copies of a chromosome, that is what is known as diploidy. Eg; in humans, we have 46 chromosomes in each cell which is equivalent to 23 pairs of chromosomes. so n=23. n is basically the haploid number, and a normal cell (which is 2n) has double that. So if whatever the number your normal cell has that is 2n, and after meiosis since the ploidy level has to become half, the daughter cell will have n chromosomes.
