How do I find the specified limits. lim x-->-infinity e^x

hartnn (hartnn):

just plug in x = -infinity...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, lim x-->-infinity e^-infinity

hartnn (hartnn):

yep, e^-inf = 1/e^inf and e^inf = inf so whats 1/inf =...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0?

hartnn (hartnn):

and when you have substituted the value, you have evaluted the limit so you write as lim x-->-infinity e^x =e^-infinity =0 correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
