What is the simplified form of the following expression ? 2x^2y+3x^2+4y+3x^2y+2y

8x+10y=2?? i think

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

nope you need to collect like terms \[2x^2y + 3x^2y + 4y + 2y + 3x^2\] the first 2 terms are have the same letters and powers so add the numbers the 2nd pair(y only) have the same letter so you will reduce your expression from 5 terms to 3 terms the last term will remain unchanged. Hope this helps...
