How do I find the x-intercept of the following quadratic equation? y=x^2-5x-6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The x-intercept is where the graph touches the x-axis. In other words, it's where y = 0. So you have to solve \(x^2 - 5x - 6 = 0\) (So it's basically like solving any other quadratic equation)
