John Calvin believed in A. the sale of relics and indulgences. B. good works as the way to gain salvation. C. the "eternal decree" of an all-powerful God. D. the separation of church and state. I would like a explanation to how you got your answer if possible.
He believed in predestination and that all people were decided by God whether they would enter heaven or hell at conception. He also created the religion Calvinism.
Ok you just copy and pasted that off the internet because I have seen 3 other sites that said the exact thing to the letter...
I would say that the answer is B. I know that Clavin didn't believe that the sale of indulgences and relics was good, he believed that politics and the church should be separated, and he thought that faith through Jesus was the way to gain salvation, but that good works merely were a fruit of that. Therefore B. would be the only possible answer. Hope this helps. :)
Sorry I mean the answer is C!!!
Ok thanks, I will go with it and if its wrong I cant do anything about that. Have a medal anyway.
