Sorry guys.. I'm "that annoying study island person" lol
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Any ideas?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Have no clue. How can I dilate it using the scale factor when it's a circle?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Good question. Think about what the word "dilate" means...

Make bigger? if I can find one pair of coordinates and multiply them by 3 will that help a little?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
So you want to make the ENTIRE circle bigger, right?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Maybe : ) Is that what I need to do
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yeah make the entire circle bigger and THEN find the radius of the new image, I don't know where to start though

OH I SEE IT :DD The radius is half diameter. On the graph, the diameter is 7, half of 7 is 3.5 So find 3.5 on the graph in the center of the circle. 3.5 x 3 is 10.5 and one answer choice is 10 1/2 units which simplifies to 10.5 so that's the answer
