What did the founders mean when they wrote "to form a more perfect Union"? A military would be formed to protect against foreign threats A court system would be formed to resolved disputes between citizens A process will be created to solve disputes between states A Bill of Rights would be created to protect citizens' liberties @djcool31
b
I believe it is D
i was choosing between the two b or d
"In order to form a more perfect union" means that the government was not perfect but that our founding fathers had a goal. The word "union" refers to the union of the different colonies or states. Their "union" did not start out perfect, so the founding fathers set out with the goal of creating one, a union between all the colonies (or states) so that the common good and defense is provided for and domestic tranquility and prosperity could follow afterward. Alone, each of the colonies was vulnerable to attack. They could not provide for their defense and ensure their long-term independence by themselves alone so they formed a union between them, so that they could win their independence and protect themselves against the British Government and the French. There is a small community that believes that this part of the preamble is a part of a masonic code. Hope I could help. :)
Okay so according to what a union is B is a better answer.
\(^.^)/ boom lol what i said
Yeah you were right.
im sorry but b was wrong
Question Information: The key word here is "more." The founders knew the Constitution wasn't perfect and neither was the country. They planned for arguments among the states by making a document that was flexible. That way, the country could keep moving closer to perfection.
and it wasn't D either so its either A or C Source: i took the quiz
Dude we're done with this question. Geesh
p.s. @country_boy i took the quiz it's c
