If f'(x)=g'(x) for all x, what can you say about the relation between f(x) and g(x)?

Well, derivatives give you a formula for the slope of a function at any point. So if the derivatives are the same, then the slope of the original function at any point is the same. This is not to say that they are the same function, however, just that theyre likely the same function or just the same function shifted up and down.
