Can someone explain to me the difference between the diameter, circumference, and the radius? What is the formula of finding the diameter, circumference or radius of a shape?

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

|dw:1382952503873:dw| diameter ø = 2 * radius = 2r Circumference C = πø = 2πr

Thank you!

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

But note that the formula for circumference only applies for a circle.

hartnn (hartnn):

perimeter means sum of all sides of a figure (or length of boundary enclosing the figure) for circle, perimeter = circumference = length of boundary enclosing circle.

So then what are the formulas for like triangles?
