1/3y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suck at Algebra two I have no clue how to do this at all..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No , 24y to the 8th power , do you know how to do exponents ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not with the Y there, no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I'm correct , I certain that you would do the same as if it wasn't there .. 24 x 24 x 24 x 24 x 24 x 24 x 24 x 24 then when you find it , add the y .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.1y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24 x 24 is what ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

576

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you know how to do exponents , why can't you simply do 24 to the 8th power?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright the calcualtor gives me 1.100753142. I have a test to turn so can you please help me and not make me feel like an idiot. I understand i suck at math already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not trying to make you feel like an idiot .. T-T I can't give you the answer out right .. You realize this is cheating , right ? You asking for help on an online test ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it multiple choice ? Can I see the choices ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its my last math class i need to graduate i dont care if i cheat. 4 y-cubed over 5 x to the fourth power 4 y to the fourth power over 5 x-cubed 5 x to the fourth power over 4 y-cubed 5 x-cubed over 4 y to the fourth power

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay .. You won't learn it .. I've already graduated & I'm terrible at math .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont care, I just am trying to rush through it because I am graduateing a year early and I am on a stirct time schedule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so please just help me quick

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It takes time , okay ? Don't irritate me & I'll help . The more you rush me the longer I'll take .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are these radical equations ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not giving you the answer , but here's how you solve it : 1. Understand that to solve your equation , You must get the radical alone . 2. Do all the surrounding work first to get the radical alone . 3. Make the radical number a regular number for both sides of the equation . 4. Understand that , once you have isolated the radical & squared / cubed both sides , you can solve the equation as usual . 5. Plug your " x " into the equation to check your work . Sorry , I'm trying to be an ambassador , I'm not going to do someone else's work , but I'll lead you in the right direction ..
