A 8.10-L container holds a mixture of two gases at 23 °C. The partial pressures of gas A and gas B, respectively, are 0.188 atm and 0.550 atm. If 0.130 mol a third gas is added with no change in volume or temperature, what will the total pressure become?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use Ideal Gas Law, PV=nRT. Then find your partial total pressure. So, (.130)(0.08206L*atm/mol*K)(296) then divide by (8.10). This will be your partial pressure for the third gas, add it to your 1st and 2nd pressures to get the overall total pressure!
