am i correct on this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jdoe0001 You're better at this than me.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

i'm in k12 too haha. The degree of the term is 1. since x is to the power of 1 the degree of a polynomial is the same as the highest exponent.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

oh oops I was looking at f(x) = 3x -1 mb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea what they showed me in the lesson then lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Using that method it takes three times. so the degree is 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when i did it i got 4: -8 -2 0 -2 -8 -6 -2 -2 -6 -4 0 -4 -4 -4 where did i go wrong?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

you dont count the first one -8 - 2 0 -2 -8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok that solves it lol thank you

OpenStudy (shamil98):

and the difference is between f(x) not x.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

mhm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what? because (-54) - (-38) = -16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see what you said nvm
