can someone please check my work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the dericative vales of \[\sqrt{x+5}\] \[1/x^2 +49 \] and x^2 - 16 I got 1/2sqrt x 2x and 2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean (1/x^2 + 49)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are these 3 separate questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Derivative of y = (x+5)^(1/2) is (1/2)(x+5)^(-1/2) or can be written as 1/(2sqrt(x+5))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The derivative of 1/(x^2+49) is (-2x/(x^2+49)^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Derivative of x^2 + 16 is just 2x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your second problem is (1/x^2) + 49?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I took the derivative of 1/(x^2+49)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.
