Evaluate the following expression For x=-2 and y=-4 4(x-y)^4

OpenStudy (ranga):

Just substitute x = -2 and y = -4 in 4(x-y)^4 and calculate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if one of the choices are 32 i think that might be correct but i wouldn't put it until some one else has a answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those Are The Choices I Have A.–64 B.64 C.–5,184 D.5,184

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i did it wrong its either 64 or 5,184 so its not A. or C.

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

For x=-2 and y=-4 4(x-y)^4 you would plug in what they gave you so 4((-2)-(-4)^4 then simplify 4( 2 ) ^4 4(16) multiply and that's your answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 64

Yes It Is Thanx Guys(:
