thats the best i could do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its 71

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No – 71 degrees is the right answer

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

looks like a equilateral triangle...so all sides are the same right...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because it's an iscocoles (spelling?) triangle, like you probably noticed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the drawing isnt to scale @undeadknight26

OpenStudy (emilylauren):

71 you're right :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks!

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Oh srry then...:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it weren't isosceles, you could have used the cosine rule to find the length of the third side, and then the sine rule to find x.

OpenStudy (emilylauren):

The angles need to add up to 180 degrees. So 180-38 leaves you with 142 degrees left. Since the remaining are the same size you can just divide by 2= 71. Just in case you needed to know how :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thats exactly what I did, but thanks @EmilyLauren
