If you were asked to convert 3.5 moles of aluminum to grams, which of the following should you use for the conversion? Select one: a. fraction: 6.022 times 10 superscript 23 atoms Al over one mol Al atoms b. fraction: 26.981 g Al over one mol Al c. fraction: 13.0 g Al over one mol Al d. fraction: 6.022 times 10 superscript 23 atoms Al over 26.981 mol Al atoms
B. \[3.5 mols Al \left( \frac{ 26.982g Al }{ 1 mol Al } \right)= 94.437g Al\]
are you sure about this
Yeah.
100%
B. says 26.981not 26.982 in your answer
A. would be used if you were given the number of atoms. C. is using the wrong molar mass for Al. D. Wouldn't result in grams.
You can get different answers based on different periodic tables. I used a periodic table that has a slight different molar mass. Your question used 26.981, but my table has 26.982 as the molar mass.
so its still the same answer
Yeah, it's still the same answer.
