a sample of an ideal gas is allowed to expand at constant temperature against atmospheric pressure. a) does the gas do work on its surroundings? b)is there heat exange between the system and the surroundings ? c)what is dalta u for this process?

look over your ideal gas law notes/textbook/just google it a) Work is force times distance; force is mass times acceleration, and acceleration is the change in velocity. b) this question depends on whether or not the room is hotter, colder or the same as the gas c) Delta is "change in", as for u, you'll have to figure that out, because i do not know
