Anthocyanins are two hexagons of carbon atoms sharing a common side. At the 2-position of this 1-oxynaphthalene there is a benzene ring. All of these rings are decorated with hydroxy groups. is this right?

I see an ether only. benzene isn't really a "functional" group.

I also see \(R\), which basically means some methy group.
