HELP GETS MEDAL write a paragraph proof

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im bad at proofs sorry. i failed that part of geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Prove what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its just called a paragraph proof

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You have to say what you want proven.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its under it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

theres a link under the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope. All that's coming through is your diagram.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea.. thats the link

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All it is is a picture of 2 triangles connected at one of their vertices. I see that. There are no accompanying words, though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

given bc= ec and ac= dc ba=ed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the = has a squiggle on top

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Prove that BA is congruent to ED (that's what that squigly thing means) OK It is given that BC = EC and AC = DC. Also, Angle BCE = Angle DCE since they are opposite angle. Therefore Triangle BCA is congruent to triangle ECD by the Side-Angle-Side theorem. Since those 2 triangles are congruenct, BA = ED by definition of "congruent".

thanks man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem!

ill have more questions if oyu wanna help
