Which of the following reactions would result in the formation of a gaseous product? Which of the following reactions would result in the formation of a gaseous product? NH3 + HNO3 → KHCO3 + HBr → NaOH + HCl → Ca(OH)2 + H3PO4 →
hey @Creativegenius Welcome to OS . :) Moving to ur ques .. Any idea ???
what u think ??? @Creativegenius or u completely losted ... :) ???
completely lost :-/
ok no problem .. :) Let's try to solve it together . r u ready ??
yes
let's Solve the first one .. NH3 + HNO3 --> NH4NO3
aqueous right?
YEAH ITS AQUEOS sO ITS NOT THE ANSWER . CANCEL IT.. NOW FOR SECOND ONE WHAT U THINK ??
the second one looks like it will produce KBr+H2O+CO2
KHCO3 + HBr ---> CO2 + H2O + KBr FOR THIRD ONE NaOH + HCl = H2O + NaCl FOR FOURTH ONE 3 Ca(OH)2 + 2 H3PO4 = Ca3(PO4)2 + 6 H2O
yh u r right , So now compare three equation what u think is right ??
the only gas is CO2 so its that one
yeah u got it .. Great man :)
Thank you very much
yw :) Thanks for the medal and fanned me .. :)
And u know how to close ur question ?.. I think now u should closed it :)
can you assist with one more question?
