Define revolution and describe the effect that a particular revolution had on the people and society of the time period in which it took place. Include facts and details to support your description.
Revolution is when people revolt to overthrow a government to replace another established political system. If you watch the news and you're familiar with the Middle East revolution of 2011 is one of the great modern example of "revolution" and it had a big EFFECT on the people and the whole society itself. Many countries in the Middle East protested about certain laws which they believed were injustice or weak and that it needs to be changed in order for their society to have a better economy. Since the government is too stubborn to listen to its own people, their citizens decided to revolt against the presidency law that allows dictators to hold in office for more than 20 years. That was the most serious matter that caused the citizens of Middle East to revolt against their government, some other Middle eastern countries had different issues. The EFFECT this revolutionary war did to its society is causing many damps to the city areas where people protested and MOST IMPORTANTLY killing thousands of people which caused many family emotional isolations. Another common example of 'revolution' in the US was the American Revolution of 1775 through 1783. The American colonies were annoyed of King George (Britain) from taking full control of them. Such as taxing, miss treating them and some other issues too. So a war was declared to the world through the declaration of independence and that's when the war began. The effect of the society is similar to any effect of wars.
Wat about the industrial revolution? srry if i'm asking for too much.
in America or in Europe? which one are u referring to?
America
because industrialization in America became popular, job opportunities were mostly found around Urban areas (were industries were located). People had to travel from the rural to urban in order for them to have a better employment. Working in factories was really painful than working naturally at the farm. You had to deal with machines and electricity. Workers were abused hardly and child labor was increasing. Children also suffered too, they were introduced to the dangerous work of factories and working with machines that contained electricity.
makes sense?
in fact, workers rights were taking away, paid less, worked many hours, even if they stopped working, they had no chance of looking for another job. And even if they got themselves fired, there will be other replacement by ambitious workers that were always at the next line
yes is makes sense thanx
