you can find the surface area calculating the three 'side areas' like 8x4, 8x3 and 4x3, add them up.. 2(8x4)+2(8x3)+2(4x3)

you have 2 faces the same length and width, right? so, calculate just 1 face by length x width. then time the result to 2 to get the total area of 2 faces. got me?
