fe1+ or fe2+, which one of them is more paramagnetic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Paramagnetic compounds contain one or more unpaired electrons and are attracted to the poles of a magnet. so Fe1+ will be more paramagnetic than Fe2+ as the Fe2+ loses 2 electrons it contains lone pair so it is an Diamagnetic. hope it helps
