Using the mean value theorem, find a value of c that makes the statement true for f(x)=cosx on the interval [-pi/2, pi/2]. I found that -sinx=0, but I'm not so sure what to do next.

I understood that you were asking for the values from the unit circle, I'm just not sure why. 0 degrees and 180 degrees..
